Big Move Consulting is proud to announce the rescue of a home near the Compass Pointe in Leland. As the land was prepared for more development to come into the area, we were able to save a house from demolition by relocating it to a nearby neighborhood.
This house rescue had many moving parts and required the cooperation of many teams. Also, it needed a large amount of patience and persistence. Faith in our mission and in doing the right thing kept us going. We are grateful to everyone who believed in us and helped us along the way!
Once the move was done, we saw an immediate return on our efforts. The neighbors were thrilled to see a clean lot with a two-story beauty hugged by a porch instead of a run-down trailer surrounded by garbage on 3016 Dillon Way NE Leland. People were stopping by to enjoy the view and greet us.
This first big project of Big Move Consulting cemented our mission. It helped us to align the processes required to address the housing affordability crisis in Coastal and Central North Carolina.
